Unlock the Potential
Our ACT program is individualized to each student’s strengths and weaknesses. All students start the process with a pre-test that allows us to assess those strengths and weaknesses. This is a full-length real ACT test.
We can provide academic support in any subject from kindergarten to high school and even some college level subjects. We help elementary, middle school and high school students in math, English, history and science classes.
We start tutoring with an interview. We come out to meet you and your child. We will ask your child many questions about his/her school experience, working to get a good feel for them as a student and a person.
Pumpkins are everywhere in October. We are going to learn how pumpkins grow, explore what’s inside the pumpkin and create a fun jack-o-lantern! Don’t worry you won’t need a candle for it!
Ages: K-2nd Grade.
$20 if you pay by the Wednesday before, $25 if registered after that. Drop ins welcome as space permits.
Practice tests are an integral part of our program because they show us what our students are getting right and what they still need to work on. Taking a practice test right before a real test helps us (and them!) learn from their mistakes. We use this opportunity to tweak whatever we can before they go into a real test. Proctored tests are a great way to take a pre-test, mid-test of post-test in a structured environment. We schedule these for Saturday mornings and time them just like a real test. This is the best way to get the most accurate results. We try to schedule them 2 weeks before a real test which gives us time to grade them and gives the tutors time to review them with your child before the real test.
Explore different man-made structures from around the world that defy the basic rules of structure then design and build towers using different materials.

I have been working with my tutor for four years. She is easy to approach and easy to talk to. If you don’t understand something, she’ll try and explain to you another way. She cares about you and wants you to succeed.
My son worked with his tutor for over a year. She started as an Algebra tutor and continued through ACT prep. Her positive approach and structured lessons resulted in a 4-point increase in a short period of time. She has a wonderful rapport with teenagers. We can’t recommend her highly enough.
We had the wonderful pleasure of working with our tutor to help our two children in preparing for the ACT. She was very thorough, focused on the specific needs of each of our children, one-on-one. She gave them great tips and helped them think in a more decisive way. She reviewed practice ACT tests with them that they each took and zoned in on where they were weak. Our children’s scores improved with her help.
